A rotating showcase of historic images from Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, presented by the Berkeley Heights Historic Preservation Committee.
These pictures were digitized as a best-effort volunteer project, so the quality varies from one image to the next.
Many of the originals have faded, cracked, or been damaged by years of sunlight and handling. In some cases, earlier efforts to catalog or display them left stickers or mountings that we could not safely remove — doing so would have destroyed the original photograph — so those marks remain in the scan.
We have chosen to preserve and share these images as they are, imperfections and all, because their history is worth seeing. If you can help fill in the missing details, we would be grateful.
